Metal/Heavy Metal/Industrial/Darkwave/Whatever other crappy genre the media has lazily labelled a group of bands with.
Punk/Heavier Pop can be included too if you feel like mentioning some stuff that's not quite 'metal'.
So, any new stuff out there that's worth a listen?

Bruce Dickinson- A Tyranny Of Souls
Tony Iommi & Glenn Hughes- Fused
System of a Down- Mezmerize
Demon- Better The Devil You Know!
GZR- Ohmwork
Judas Priest- Angel Of Retribution (Pretty damn good, but doesn't measure up to their late 70s albums!)
The single Gunshot to the head of trepidation does have a beastly guitar solo though...

Trivium are bloody awesome. I saw them at Download earlier this year and they were one of the best of the weekend. Plus I got to meet them afterwards.
They're touring the UK again in March so if you want to see one hell of a show, buy some tickets now!
