Well felt like doing a thread when we all show our backgrounds. Well heres my background right now. Depends. If you are on a schedule, it can be not very much fun - say you are doing the Duke of Ed Award or Queens Scout Award. Your bag will weigh about 3-4 stone and you have to walk 50 miles over 4 days, camping out wherever.
If you go out for a night to a place you know is decent though, with some alcohol and a nice girl you get on with, even better when she is pollaxed, then it can be a lot of fun. Seriously though, lying beside a campfire looking up at the stars is something I love to do.
