We're not saying things become wieghtless, the mass remains the same, and the weight is reduced.
And an average person doesnt have the strength to swim with concrete shoes, even if they are in water.

Also things such as surface coverage would have an impact.
Think about dropping a piece of paper into a swimming pool and then dropping a pea that weighs the same as the paper.
It's likely that the paper will float and the pea will slowly sink.

Thanks for agreeing! You can lift alot of heavy things under water that you wouldnt be able to budge on land, its a bit like space where there is no gravity, astronauts can lift things that weigh tonnes but to them its as light as a feather!
