Morroco, Nigeria, Cameron, Senegal, Tunisia, South Africa.

Not one of these teams have so far made it through to the World Cup finals. Either Tunisia or Morroco will make it through to the finals in the play off and the rest of the teams will go into the African Nations Cup with a place at the World Cup the prize. And the teams debuting at Germany?

Angola, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Togo. None of them having played at this level before.

Should make for a fascinating World Cup and will be nice to see Chelsea boys Michael Essien and Didier Drogba playing at this level, as well as Arsenal's Ivory Coast international Kolo Toure.

Japan, Iran, South Korea and Saudi Arabia have all made it through from Asia - the same as last time so that's a bit boring. But the play off will see either Uzbekistan or Bahrain make it through - both minnows at international level.

England, Poland (cheers JFH), Ukraine, Croatia, Italy, Holland, Germany, USA, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil have also made it through, and possibly Portugal - can't be bothered to work out whether they've made it through yet for proper or it's just inevitable.

So we have 6 more teams from Europe to qualify, with the other 2 teams coming from either: Asia, North, Central American and Caribbean Zone or the South American Zone.

Australia yet again have won there group, and still might not go through again. Feel sorry for them as they have to have 2 play-offs. Think they have already won the first one and face someone like Uruguay next.

It was overturned. I think they said they'd just miss out the next African Nations Cup or something like that as an alternative punishment.

Isn't Cameroon's failure down to them starting with e point deduction for their all-in-one kit in that very tournament though? Or did that get overturned, and they just funked it up?

Nah, Chilavert won't be returning. I believe he's now a goalkeeper coach at Velez Sarsfield, and has now decided his dream is to manage the Paraguay national team, so he won't be governing the country anytime soon.

Which is a good thing. Paraguay with Chilavert as manager would rule, whereas Paraguay with Chilavert as preisdent probably wouldn't.

Is there any possible chance that you know who might pop back or is still on that political crusade thingy?

Also, hooray for Angola. Surprised at Cameroon though, I thought they strolled that African cup tournament thingy a few years back.

Thanks, didn't know about that but makes sense though. Would be nice to see T&T at the finals seeing as they have David Johnson.

Tunisia have made it.

Oh, and Angola and Ghana have played in the World Cup before.
