It does look quite bulky. I figured it would either make the PSP easier to hold, or be very uncomfortable.
I actually got my hands on one of these things last Thursday, I have to say it's very uncomfy to wield for more than 20 minutes. Also, the Memory Stick connector, which has a small lead running to the HD really gets in the way of your hand when playing.

I haven't had one since the Commodore 64, but that was one of the most excellent gadgets I ever owned.

Action Replay's their flagship product that's not likely to be poor.

Ipod quality is also questionable.
