"Ronnie Barker RIP"

Just heard on the radio that Ronnie Barker has died.

Best known for his sketch show 'The Two Ronnies' with Ronnie Corbett, and the fantastic sitcom Porridge, a great comic performer.

Thanks for the laughs.

"Fork 'andles" is my favourite sketch by a long chalk.

That's a damn shame.

Porridge was a kickass program almost entirely because of Fletch, and Open All Hours had its moments.

He will be missed.

I just heard this on BBC1 news headlines, and I'm gutted.

I think this is the first time that a celeb has died and I've actually found myself with a tear in my eye.

I spent my entire childhood, and many years after, laughing hysterically at his antics in The Two Ronnies, Porridge and Open All Hours.

The man was a legend.

Didn't really like Open All Hours, but Porridge was good and The Two Ronnies usually brilliant.

My Mum loved Ronnie Barker, so I am sad that he's died.

I used to love The Two Ronnies when I was a kid, and thought it was great when they did the 'best of...' type show earlier in the year.

And Porridge, in my opinion, is one of the best sitcoms we've ever produced in this country.

I was never that fond of Open All Hours though, and until you mentioned it, had forgotten about it entirely.
