There is this good site for people without a record label or anything to start promoting their band across the net.

I was in a band once.
We rocked pretty damn hard, 2 guitarists, 1 bassist, 2 drummers and a vocalist.
We had 1 song which to be fair was probably the best song ever written so much so that we got complaints from jelous people and had to stop once to twice (they used the old, it's 3pm on a sunday and we were relaxing in our garden line).
Now most of the members have turned to drugs apart from me.

Me and Snuggly were in a band. We rocked. We wrote two riffs, no lyrics, and the riffs were in the same key so we put them over the top and made it into one song...with no lyrics. Then we gave up. Always the dream though. I have quite an arsenal of tunes lined-up, but I'm such a tosspot I'd insist on playing all the instruments myself instead of letting our drummer do what he wants.
