Im thinking on buying gta san andreas but my system seems it doesnt supports I will write down:

System - Windows 2000
Computer Type - Intel Celeron 666MHZ
Memory - 256MB
Monitor - HP Pavilion M50
Driver - 20GB
Graphic Card - 64MB Herlett Packard G.Card
DirectX -
1.Microsoft Direct3D hardware acceleration through direct3D HAL
2.Microsoft Direct3D mono(ramp) software emulation
3.Microsoft Direct3D rgb software emulation
Direct Music - Microsoft Software Synthesizer
Direct Play -
1.WinSock TCP Connection for DirectPlay
2.WinSock IPX Connection for DirectPlay
3.Modem connection for DirectPlay

I want to know which graphic card I should buy to play GTA - SAN ANDREAS.

Ice you really need a new computer if you want GTA:SA to run well, a 666Mhz just isn't going to cut it. Maybe have a check around for some cash and work out your budget so people have a better idea of what to look for or suggest.

I recommend you buy the 7800GT from nVidia and GTA San Andreas will run like a dream!

3dFX were the boys. I never got into Descent.

I was thinking eariler, who remembers decent, the 1st 3d game I think (apart from pseudo 3d using sprites and bitmaps like doom) it ran a treat on my ATI RAGE 8MB video card and 64mb of RAM (upgraded to 128, woo!)about 6 years ago

getting a Voodoo 12mb graphics card just blew it out the water, those were the days.

Think where we will be in 6 years time computer wise, don't think you could get anything then which doesn't have microsoft written across it.


btw, get a PS2, cheaper.

I have no graphics card, 128 MB of RAM, and a 600MHz Pentium 3 processor.
