I agree that there are a lot of Japanese appealing titles (such as GEntle brain exercises and Nintendogs). But it is still doing well over here, selling around 3 million in Europe and America. A good score.
The runaway success of the DS in Japan could easily happen for the Revolution (in Japan)... re-building your fan base on the home ground will give Nintendo a much needed boost, will hit Sony and make the console war a far closer affair this generation.

Where as the Japanease would say "2 screens and I can blow up my girlfriends skirt on Hodashi no Denki Gechu Girlfriend Simrulator"
