Does anyone have either, if so what one do you suggest?

and cricket.
and rugby.
and tennis.
I've glanced over 2 reviews so I know what I'm talking about. ;)
Tiger woods, Fight Night and the basket-ball one might be good but there's not much else.
Not a fan of Madden, at all.

Agreed (sort of)! Fifa may not be as widely appreciated as Pro Evo..but it dumps on Codemasters' Club Football from a great height!

I don't think EA are that bad anymore. They make average-to-good games all-round, and now actually try to make decent updates instead of banging out the same title in a different font and a different colour scheme each year. Think about the games they had out in 2004 - Burnout 3, NFSU:2, all the sports ranges. None of them were too bad, were they? And if they were, you didn't have to go out and buy them, did you?
EA may be trying to monopolise the industry, and they may shift average titles by the bucketload, but you can't blame them for having good advertising.
Looks pretty damn good.

It's not. It used to be, but not any more. Well, it doesn't exist anymore, but yeah. Madden is awesome, and one of the most slickly produced and comprehensive sports series around.
Class.
