I think so.

No doubt he's their best player, but one player doesn't make a good team. With that kind of cash they can build a better squad, so I think it's a good move for them.

For England however...

What, the bloke from Hear'say? I don't think anybody'd ever referred to him as one of England's hottest prospects. Well, perhaps they did just after he won on 'Popstars' but they've faded into obscurity now and the vast majority of the English public seem to have got over that.

And when did Man U sign him anyway?

Nope it goes up to that much based on success and appearances i believe. Plus isn't that "fat Shrek look-a-like" meant to be one of England's hottest prospects? Says alot for England then, course when he's netting them for England i bet you're cheering for that beautiful United player as much as everyone else :-D

Chelsea wont benefit much from this transfer, they already have Joe Cole. Why spend £21 million on a player you dont really need?

He'll fit perfectly into the Chelsea system, surely. Right wing-forward is his best position. It'll be Joe Cole/Duff who suffers because of this trasnfer, because Robben is obviously first choice left wing-forward.

Poor Joe.

Agreed, great move for City but for Wright-Phillips himself... I'm not so sure. I just hope Mourinho has the sense to actually play him.
