More likely, Chelsea gave them a BIG payoff, which would benefit Spurs more than a wantaway scout.

I was under the impression he was some kind of Director-cum-Coach of some sort. Though how that would explain his talent spotting I don't know.

I've been waiting weeks to hear the outcome and now they keep it to themselves. This is the thing I hate about Spurs, they tell their fans abolsutely fook all unless they HAVE to. It's always been that way. :(

Chelsea probably didnt want the figure coming out as other clubs would want the same amount if (more like when) this happens again.

True, but frankly, I'd rather set a precedent then allow other, very rich clubs, to ask for outlandish sums of money.
