Underneath my right nostril there's a swollen bit that feels like bone (yes I know there's no bone in your nose) that wasn't there before I was assaulted last year.
Well, I always assumed it was swollen and would one day "unswell"
Well, it hasn't, and now the bottom of my nose is kinked at the bridge (or whatever it's called).
Add to this the fact that I can squash my nose onto the right hand side of my face (but not the left hand side) if I push/pull at it, which I could never do before.
Should I go to a doctor or soemthing?

If its broken then doc will do very little unless you look totally weird.
All they can really do is re-set it but that can be quite painful and doesn't always work.

As a doctor, my prognosis would be:

I've got the same actually, and there is bone at the base of the nose, it then forms into cartilage.

Yep the idiot was fighting. But that was 8 months ago.
I think its quite obvious that no one in this forum has a clue about broken noses(including me) but I go with sticking on a plaster and looking like robbie fowler
