It's excellent but I have no idea who the artist/band is.

Ha. Reading this back I still can't get over this. Yeah there are some quiter moments, but then there are some times when he's jumping all over the place and shouting or whispering, etc.

Yes 'recently'.
I don't hold anything out at the moment in a high regard.

Like I said, the music was quite interesting: it's a shame the singer sounds like he wants to be somewhere else and the 'screaming' elements just don't cut it.
Now if you give some of those Ozrics songs a listen you'll find each one sounds like it has about 5/6 instrumental songs within each tune.

And he can't carry those changes off in a decent way, I've heard much better and how he does it doesn't raise my interest in the slightest.

I suggested them though, because you can't link them to modern music and they break the mould. It's unfair to judge them as just another modern "The" band.

I could make a song with 20 songs in one. Doesn't make it a good song, good music or good to listen to, does it? But that's delving into whether your musical taste is more brown band or white band...

Regardless, Ozric Tentacles are the best band I've ever heard.

However their music seems solidly based in 60's influences which makes the link to the other 'The' bands that do the same a rather solid one.

Fair enough.
I haven't heard them...
Just out of interest, so I have a better understanding of your "unique" taste, rate the following bands. (Yay, Nay or Meh)#
Deep Purple
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Guns and Roses
Radiohead
Oasis
Coldplay
Blur
Velvet Underground
Kasabian
Led Zepplin
> Red Hot Chili Peppers - 'Can't stop' is good along with 'Give it away' or whatever it's called.
> Guns and Roses - Quality band I grew up with. Hardly a 'Duff' moment.

> Coldplay - 'Daylight' is good and one other.
> Blur - Song 2, That country song, Crazy beat - all good, not fussed by most of it.
> Velvet Underground - Step Brother likes them. Haven't heard.
> Kasabian - From the small amount I've heard they seem to be like The Stone Roses but not as good. I'll stick with The Stone Roses thanks.
