New episodes being shown in USA, which I've acquired. The first family guy was funny but then the second was quite weak. American Dad was funny for the first two episodes but the third was weaker. Is Seth Mcfarlane spread too thinly and will this turn into The Simpons Billionth series crappiness?

I am now looking in to these as I type. Enjoyed both first episodes of each.
Aslong as they don't have to make musical or clip shows as they are both gay as **** to watch.

Ive just aquired series 1-3 of family guy after resently aquir.... oh what the hell, downloading 4x01. I havent got round to watching 4x02 yet. I hope series 4 is as good as 1 and 2 (I havent got to season 3 yet).
I saw the 8 minute or so pilot of American Dad - looked to be absolute genius. Basically Family Guy with other characters slotted in.
I remember when Family Guy was on ITV at about 2 o'clock on a Saturday afternoon.

American Dad's awful. If Family Guy wasn't around, it'd be a lot better, but it's just a carbon copy.

*shrug* I thought it was excellent. Prehaps not as good as 4x01, but only becuase I got 8 laugh out loud moments as opposed to 12.

Episode 2 was quality.
Although, Episode 1 was probably the best so far.
