DOn't know if you guys know this but Nintendo have decided not to include a 50hz mode in the PAL release of Prime 2.

So if you have an old TV with no 60hz mode, you're screwed.

Once again Nintendo shows its love for Europe....

Most TVs bought within the last 10 years support 60Hz anyway.

My TV is 60Hz. I think.

If not I am truly forked.

Tilt I'm not even sure 50htz TV's exist anymore.

And if they do then those people will almost certainly not own a Gamecube.

Many Gamecube games can't run on 50htz TV's, they just aren't capable.

If the Zelda bonus disc you got from the STARS catalogue (that collectors edition thing that has 4 games and a demo in) only runs on 60hz mode too, so if that works then so will prime 2.

There's a difference between PAL-60Hz and NTSC-60Hz as well. It'll be PAL, which pretty much every telly should be able to handle.

If you're not sure, just load up pretty much any Ninty game and hold B as it loads (Wind Waker for sure, loads others) and you'll be able to change it into 60Hz mode. If it comes out Black and White, then you're fooked.

Most Nintendo games give you the option.

99% of telly's have 60htz mode. There are 7 TV's in my house, some as old as 9 years and ALL of them run 60htz modes. Even the really cheap ones.

Unless your telly has a dial on the front you're fine.
