Haven't heard it, haven't seen the video.
Seen an episode of Phoenix Nights and it was ok, seen one of his live stand-up DVDs and it was atrocious, lazy comedy about people dancing at weddings and mums buying cheap cola.

If you watch that chart show on T4 on a saturday morning, its been number one on that for about 3 weeks or something stupid. Probably will be next week...

It's for charity, it's a song by an aging crooner, it's got everones favorite "scarborough / Blackpool" comedian (who I personally hate apart from Pheonix Nights), it's not meant to be taken seriously.
Weirdest "incident" I've seen regarding it? A bunch of Newcastle slappers singing it away at the top of their voices in the Bigg Market.
For that alone, I'll always have a soft spot for it.
