Hey there im a newbie,

I hate bein a newbie, it took me about 20 mins to try and locate where the post new thread thing was, and i dont know if this even is in the right forum, im sure you will all start laughing at me for being so sad but feel free it happens everywhere else, but all i ask is why?

A very good opinion, one that is held by myself and everyone who doesn't own a DC

You see that is exactly the point. You don't own a DC therefor you cannot make a quick judjement like saying its crap because you havn't givin it a fair trial.

Im not just gonna shout out the PS2 is crap because i honestly don't know, I havn't played one.

I do beleave though that the DC is better than my old PS(which i had for 3 years) because I have experenced them both for a long time. I also thinK the PS has its strong points as does the N64 because i've played them both for ages.

My fav game of all time probably is Perfect Dark but my Favourite console is the Dreamcast. Do you see my point?

Don't say a console or game is 100% great/bad untill you have given it a real good playing.

I played tekken tag and silent scope in my local game store.

Tekken tag was ok, not vastly different from tekken 3 and i was expecting better graphics after all the hype around it.

Silent scope was great though, i liked it alot. Identical to the arcade as far as i could see(without the super cool sniper rifle of course).

I nearly completed powerstone 2 after being in the store for and hour and a half they started glaring at me so i left quietly....

But anyone who says a PSone is better than a DC is an idiot. I'm saying, considering when it cam out, it's not as good as it could be.

Oh, and I did actually borrow a DC for 2 weeks, so I have experienced them.

The DC rules the pit it has been thrown into, whilst the PS2 rules the outside world.

I beleive you are mistaken the DC is half way through it's reign and the ps2 got off to a quirky start and hasnt pulled out of that!

The DC has ceased production, and Sega will stop making games in 2002 because there aren't enough people with DCs to continue it. The userbase has maxed out, and Sega are just keeping going out of courtesy.
