Already got Frances The Mute, The Album 05 and Comfort In Sound. Looking to get The Killers album today so please reccomend me some albums of any genre. Also looking for a definitive Offspring album and Radiohead album.

Emanuel (I have no idea what their album's called, but their great, get some stuff)

and crucially...

Dream Theater. Not enough people appreciate their genius.

Get "Train Of Thought" or "A Change Of Seasons"

The Bends is a very good album. The fact that many enjoy it is due to it's quality, not really due to any 'differences' in their music.

Also, they don't strike me as the sort of band that sit down and say 'right, lets start rolling it in'.

Please agree with me that this was the let's-make-a-really-basic-appealing-to-all-album. To me this is the fan grabbing album, then all the others required you to like what they were doing and therefore start the cult.
