Don't know if this has been done before, but I couldn't find anything like/about it on the first page.
Sorry if it's already been done.

So, let's see a pic of your desktop.

Here's what mine looked like earlier today.

But after using a few programs to change the theme, put in a new background and stuff.

edit: ObjectDock is a free program that allows you to have a nice animated launchbar/taskbar on your screen that reacts to your mouse when you mouse over it.

Yeah, ya need to go double-height or more. I need the double height as I normally have loads of things open.

It's actaully a photo I stole off a website somewhere - you can see an electricity pylon in the bottom right-hand corner.
