Elebits will hopefully let you share content with other users, get new maps from Konami and send pictures from the game to friends. Not really 'online gaming' but it's an important step because it means Nintendo's online system is working and soon we'll see games like Smash Bros that will (again, hopefully) use the net fully in-game.

Pokemon will be one of them, but I guess the one they'll push the most for actual online play will be Metroid and hopefully Smash Bros.

Exactly my thinking. Sounds a lot like I have a 360, now I'm trying to justifying not getting a Wii by placing emphasis on its shortcomings.

I've played Small Arms - not impressed. Super Smash Bros Melee was much more fun, and if I'm getting the Wii for free this Christmas, and already have SSBM, then I save on 6 quid.
