They're a cash-in on generic depressed teens who want nu-metal dumbed down even further for them.
"sick, so sick of this
I wanna slit my wrists"
accompanied by a fairly upbeat nu-metal guitar riff.
At least Papa Roach didnt sing it with smiles.

I saw a video of the performance, and he coped very well; Lars isn't quite as manic in style though; only in "Leper Messsiah" does he really go crazy, and his speed is very clear in early songs like "Motorbreath".

Yngwie is a damn good guitarist, though his music is often quite predictable- you could say his songs are arranged only so solos can be put in. Still, he has employed many accomplished musicians over the years, notably Joe Lynn Turner and Cozy Powell.

You know I don't actually listen to Yngwie?
I just go on about him to wind you up.
Steve Vai has some great, great songs though.
As does Joe Satriani.

As I've been telling you for ages about guitarists, but you still listen to all those crapsters.
Thought you might want to know.

Well in terms of technical ability he's a lot better than the Metallica drummer (forget his stupid name) anyway, so their beats weren't a problem for him.
Technical ability isn't the same as "good" though.

That's a very specific condition to like a band under.

Is that a sign of good drumming? I don't know if it is or not.....not saying he isn't, but hell, AFI can do that, and they're not exactly musical Gods.

Actually, Taylor was in Stone Sour BEFORE Slipknot, but just used his success with the 'knot to regenerate Stone Sour.
I know this simply because I like Stone Sour, whilst the other two suck my wang.
