Sonic 2 came out in 1992, you're 12 years late. Also, it has a sequel and surprisingly it's called Sonic 3. I think you'd like it.

Ha loved my Megadrive, but not as much as my amazing C64 that had games for £1 that were better than the majority of games nowadays for 40x that.
