An the plane has crashed, do you:
a) Jump, knowing you'll die as soon as you hit the ground?
OR
b) Wait to see if you'll be saved, and risk facing a painful death?
This thread isn't meant to offend, just wondering. Just re-saw the video of people jumping out.
Personally I'd take option A i reckon.

I would wait, if it started to get painful, i would then jump.

I'd get naked and jump out of the window, perhaps with a communist hammer-and-sickle flag tied around my neck in a cape-like fashion. Perhaps, also, I'd make a ramp from a desk and launch myself off in an office chair and catch some Gs.

I'd just like to point out that the people jumping were doing so due to the heat and smoke inhalation. I think the choices should be
a) Do you stay and die from smoke inhalation and / or burning to death
or ,
b) jump out of sheer desperation and blind, naked terror.
