Cut a long story short...

Just split with my ex girlfriend of three years, but a work colleague's daughter has taken a shine to me.

I'm 22 she's 18

is that to much of a gap??

in low numbers that seem's bad, if I was 39, and she was 35 thats just normal.

what should I do?

There isn't an age difference between 22 and 18 just go out with her she'll help you forget about the ex.

Just split up with your g/friend after 3 years? If I were you I would be out sleeping with as many lovely ladies as I could, not thinking about settling down again.

i saw a crazy formula somewhere on a site.

your age divide by 2 then plus 7 thats your minimum age or people younger to go out with.

example

22/2 = 11 plus 7 = 18

Both classed as adults im most cases. I say go for it. If you like her and she likes you then why not.

I know someone that was about 14 when she was with a guy of 24. Might sound wrong but they are still together nove and she is 18 now.

Someone in my year at school got engaged to an 18 year old... I'm 14.

So I reckon it's not that bad :S (although she is damn ugly/fat/short *shudder*)
