I was just watching the Simpsons and the nerdy teen threw himself of a cliff shouting 'why did they cancel Futurama'. Thats the first time I think I agreed with a reason for someone to kill them selfs.

First time I had a good laugh at a new Simpsons episode for a while.

They had a reference the other day too when they all went to the comic convention:

"Wow, Matt Groening, creator of Futurama."

they had peter from family guy on there the other day!

I was watching Futurama today and it made me laugh more than The Simpsons.

That's not the only 'Futurama' reference that's appeared in 'The Simpsons'.

They include:

Bender as a member of the people at the phones in 'Missionary; Impossible',
Fry makes a brief appearance on a couch gag.
While at a convention, Milhouse, Data and Uter pass Lisa. Uter is wearing a 'Futurama' shirt.

I think a couple of these occured prior to Matt Groening ACTUALLY doing the first Futurama episode.

Theres a lot of crossover in all FOX shows

That was the finale of Season 15 then, I think...
