Rah.

I use my Gmail addy on MSN, and wish to configure so that I can be notified of email etc.

There's a server field, user name field, and password field in the settings.

Does anyone know the server, or indeed how to find out what to put there?
Cheers.

AFAIK Gmail doesn't use POP3 so you can't use MSN to check your emails, or indeed pretty much anything - including Outlook etc. I did read of a plugin for Outlook Express (I think) which allows you to check your emails. Seem to think it works by parsing the data from the Gmail web site and emulating a POP3 Server. I could be wrong, but if I'm not, have a search for it cos it could probably be used for MSN as well. I'm assuming you have Messenger Plus! installed - that plug-in allows MSN to check a POP3 account.
