Personally, I feel sorry for anyone called Derek. I think most who became famous would have changed their name. However, some haven't. So let's list all the Famous Dereks we can think of.

Derek Jacobi - Actor.
Derek Warrick - Formula 1 Driver.

In all fairness to the lass, she was as funny as t!ts with ribbons. Name of Mandy Knight, though I've not heard much from her since. Shame cos it was the first time I've seen someone come back on for a 3rd encore to declare "No, really; I genuinely have ran out of material".

Jo Brand however makes me feel cancerously ill.

Jo Brand is a walking contraceptive. Her voice irritates me more than her fat exterior though - and I'm from Harlow, where we have plenty of both!

One of my brothers is called Derek. He was told by a comedienne that the name was "like a contraceptive in itself".
