Very true. I cringe whenever I see a movie with the "dancing text" montage style opening credits of Se7en. It almost guarantees you're in for a naff movie. still, Saw seems to be a movie that's getting a lot of good reviews and attention since its a microbudget feature that's pushing the envelope of what's expected from these types of movies. Having said that, so did Cabin Fever. I'll be going to see it as I've been tracking it's development, and I hope I'm not dissapointed.

Does that mean that instead of spending £3.50 watching it in a cinema you'll spend £3.50 watching it at home. Or even £20 on a purchase?

Damn straight, and a great one at that, but since then it seems we've had a never ending influx of mediocre clones.
It might be good, but I won't be rushing to the cinema to see it, I'll wait for the DVD release.

Serial Killers?
Get some fresh material, hollywood. It's just another excuse to present the audience with more and more creative ways for a person to die.
Apparantly really messed up. Can't wait.

That's used on the billboard advertisements.
Shame on you.
As for the movie, doesn't really look all that.
> It looks intriguing.
