Myst, try Shareaza. You can use it as a normal downloader (like with Kazaa) or as a host for Bit Torrent. http://www.bittorrent.co.uk/ will link to some of the sites.

blimey what are you downloading that's taking 19 more hours?
It probably won't be 19 hours. It usually picks up in speed given time. Set your maximum uploads as high as possible until you get a decent download rate, then gradually drop the uploads lower and lower to about 5-20. This usually helps keep the download speeds up.
