Well there's the evil XNA. :D

Fair enough but there are some nice one's out there that have a retro-feel like Future Tactics and Ghost Master that can't have cost that much to make.

I'm kind of hoping that someone'll have a massive break-through in terms of game programming to make things a billion times easier to do.
As Flash did for all the internet animation stuff.

That's really playing on retrospect, though. People are suckers for it.

Yeah I expect you're right, but it is retailing at 14.99 so it's an interesting approach that will be interesting if it works well.

True, and those Atari/Midway bundles seem to shift well so there's obviously an appetite for simple gameplay with no-fuss graphics out there.

I'll bet it had a large budget and plenty of manpower behind it (pardon the expression) though.
