Um...has anyone else seen this? Its a somewhat bizarre Japanese horror musical. A horror musical. From Japan. It's true.
I'm asking those who prefer underground cinema and have seen similar Japanese films (like Ringu, Audition, Ichi, that kind of stuff), because I need to draw comparisons to something and I still can't understand what the point of THOTK was. It's been 24 hours since I watched it and I'm still totally bemused.
I also watched Happy Tree Friends. Enjoyed.
Yeah, so any opinions would be appreciated. Or explanations, come to that...

Well, yes and no. Takashi Miike directed it, and he isn't in the habit of making BAD films. Sick films, yes, but not bad films. The music was totally inappropriate but I don't know if that was intended. It came across as a crap film but I enjoyed watching it.
