Looks good. This will probably be the only PS2 game i'll be getting unless I decide to buy an old classic I haven't played yet.
Now that they have changed the release date from Next Year to this autumn I want to know more about the game.

If it's more like Socom 1 i'll be interested but if it's like Socom 2 i'll be keeping very far away from it
I thought SOCOM 2 was rather great online. I've never touched the single-player, though.
I've been following SOCOM 3 since it was first announced. Offline it'll probably be OK, it looks to be a third-person shooter which doesn't really offer anything different to the 100s of other shooters out there. If I wanted another 'OK' third person shooter I could nip out and buy 3 or 4 right now, why wait?
The more I see of online footage the less I want it, the gameplay looks more diabolical than that of its predecessor.
