I am looking for a method to get my .swf file to work on a php forum inside [img] tags. I think it is something to do with hotlinking or something but it doesnt work grr
html is disallowed down to it allows too much control.It's a php board
Also, depending on the forum, you might be able to get an add-on and install it so that flash can be used in [flash][/flash] tags.
I know this is possible on invision forums via an addon from ibplanet.com, and I suppose other forums would offer the same.

You can't do it inside [IMG] tags on forums.
You can do it if HTML is enabled though...
