I have broadband on my PC too which I can't really switch off or disconnect to hook to a router can I? Urgh. Any help people? I mean I keep thinking I don't actually need all these wires. Any advice would really help. Ta.

ps. your router is probably also a modem, so your shouldn't have to use your old modem anyway.

Well, I would assume that for your current broadband connection u have an external modem, or maybe yo have some sort of internal one. Anyway, if it is external, discconect it, then connect to your router ADSL modem by a LAN connection, which never seems to work on my network, or via a wireless card which your router does support. Sometimes it helps to completely rid your computer of any drivers or software related to your old modem, my PCs couldn't connect to the net untill I had uninstalled all the BT Voyager software. Tho remember to always back up said drivers etc, as you'll want to ensure you can still connect to the net if all goes wrong. With my router I just put in the details of my broadband connection (Login, password and some technical stuff...PPOE and all that jazz) in on the on board config utility and connected to it, and it was fine. I had no experience when approaching my network, however if you just read thorugh the manual and follow the details you should be fine. If you have any other specific problems just post and I'll see if I can help :D
