This has got to be a joke, i thourght that this game would push the DS hardware to the limit.

I wouldent say it looks retro, just crap, but i kinda see what you mean, simplistic graphics for simplistic touch screen gameplay.

I enjoyed it a lot. Get the concept that its an arcade type game, and that anything on the side of the road is destroyable then its an absolute corker.
Its not trying to be super realistic, its fun, and compaired to other offerings the DS has, its fantastic.
You can pick it up for £10-£15 now aswell.

I beg to differ on that one. Everyuthing about Asphalt was wrist-cuttingly dire.

You really, really need to get your facts right. Every post you make is just so totally wrong - it's funny.

I think I know why the graphics look so much better on the PSP in comparison to the DS. It's a long shot.

I think, just think, one of the consoles is twice as powerful - hell, that could be wrong though.

Therefore, stop comparing - the DS version will probably make use of its unique capabilities and, yeah, it could be much better.

I know its not about the graphics, but i feel in something that lacks real gameplay depth like a racer, graphics are vital.
Assault:urban gt has better graphics that that, but then, i've always said that was a great game.
I can't understand how the ds version can compete with the PSP's, any non-fan newcomers will look at the PSP version and want it.

That looks awful. Clearly the DS wasn't made for racers so why bother making them? The PSP version rules though.

I guess EA just saw the chance for a quick buck from a 'conversion'.

Such a shame they own the series now. And if this one hadn't been wink, I might have bought a DS for it :^O
