Are the wallsuckers the invisible ones that try and melee you? Atm I am on my way to the roof, any good bits coming up?

Yeah wallsuckers did it too, i was like what the feck was that? then it was jsut down to waiting for noise and fireing wildly in that direction.

I think F.E.A.R. is good but it's not great, the answer machines and stuff for story is quite good, but i prefered Doom3 and all the PDAs as it kept the story pretty deep and detailed.

The body crashing through the wall made me shout out loud. As well as gthe first appearance of the wallsuckers.

Once you get past the "samyness" of the game, and get into it for what it is, it's pretty cool, but doesn't deserve anywhere near the accolades it's got.

I've had some pretty fun creepy around, poke head up to lay some supressing fire, move to another location, bung slowmo on, throw grenade and shoot it just before contact, moments with it.

I just hate the fact you're almost always alone (and even when your not, the guys you're with don't get into firefights), the flatness (and dullness colorwise) of the locations and the way the storyline is progressed by answering machine messages, and laptops lying around(?!) only. Pace I can accept, as the scares wouldn't work with out it.

Quake 4 is the opposite in all, and I mean all respects, even down to the dumbish A.I. Even then it pulls off some "cat in the box" scares.

The bit in the air-vent crapped me up a bit.

Just nabbed fear off a mate down the hall. Not so scary as I thought it would be, I find it cool more than anything...

OK so i finished it, it was short but sweet. Worked fine on pretty high settings for me. I guess the limiting factor is my measly (by todays standards) 768MB of RAM.

Oh and tigamilla, I would go but dragging my comp from Fairfax to Goodriche doesnt seem like a good idea... Anyway got a maths lecture to get to...
