Edit: What does L and R mean? the triggers or the thumbsticks or what?

I found out how to do 2 players almost as soon as I posted this. I just want to ask this though...
I've tried to get the cheats to work but nothing happens, you see, I wanted the extra money cheat...

You have to unlock it by playing the single player a bit, if it's anything like the first one anyway.
Cant remember how you access it but I remember that it's utter balls.
you know theres this thing called an instruction manual and guess what... it tells you.
