Just a reminder to all those PC gamers out there that DEFCON is out on the 29th (Friday!!)
For those out of the loop, DEFCON is a game of Thermonuclear War. Essentially a strategy game, it's a case of adopting a continent (or part of one) or a collective of countries and blowing the heck out of the other ones. Contrary to the vision you might have in your head, DEFCON is a subtle, minimalistic game in a Wargames style layout.
There are 5 Stages to the game, Defcon 5, down to 1. 1 What you can do at certain stages varies, and it's all a game of tactics. You can make and break alliances, betray or support your allies to the end.
The great thing about Defcon is that anyone can run it, so even in you have a PS at 600 MHX, or a Voodoo -5, you'll be able to join in the fun.
There's plenty of FPS games out there, but for strategy fans, or people who want something better to do in the office in place of work this is for you!
