I'm just inside the Temple of Pyrynn and have rolled the barrels to get the money in the chest. I go back down, but the barrel has gone to its original position and I can't get out. Help?
The only bits with barrels is right at the very entrance of the temple and with that there was always a 2 way system. Sometimes its easy to over look the obvious in that game.
I don't remember having any problem like this in the temple, but though I remember the barrel bits, I don't remember the exact point you're at.
Try again, and if it does it a second time, check for another path out, then restart and don't get the money. Easy.

Have you not noticed the other barrel providing transport down the shaft? It should be there on the left side at the top.
I looked on Gamefaqs, said the barrel would be there, but it wasn't. Had to end the game, must have been a bug. I had leveled up too :(
