I am new to Websitepro having signed up today (4th July 2018) for a free trial. I have experience in website design but just wanted an easy off the shelf responsive site that could be knocked up in 5 minutes as one of the the adverts alluded to.

Biggest disappointment is that not one of the templates bear any resemblance to the page the service is advertised on, here is the link https://freeola.com/website-builder . The overriding problem is the small size the banner is restricted to. There does appear to be 2 sizes of finished banner, the larger image produced if a side bar is used. Having checked older Forum here for this issue it seems this was last raised 10 years ago when it was suggested Freeola were looking at this issue.

I want an up-to-date looking site without having to delve deeply into style sheets and to be frank, the templates are old hat looking.

If there is, and never will be in the short term, no way of using stylish sized banners such as the one used in the link above then my free trial of Websitepro will be very short lived.

Any suggestions please.

Hi and welcome to the forum!

As you mention you have some 'experience with web design' you'll appreciate that it's not easy to knock something decent up in "5 minutes". As someone who also does does some web design I see this as a good thing!

If 'website builders' were as good as doing something bespoke it would be bad news. But I have noticed they are getting better as time goes on...

Hmmm...
