Ah, none of mine got accepted. Oh well. I'm not going to become a photographer any time soon. heh.

Finally added some. Hopefully they're useful enough.

And for anyone still looking to enter, we've updated the guidance at http://freeola.com/win-prizes-for-photos/ regarding subject matter. We're pretty well-stocked now for nature and plant-based pictures, so you stand a better chance of being accepted and awarded a voucher with something different. Ideally, a subject that will be suitable for bloggers or web designers. They could be simply decorative or they could illustrate a concept, scenario or metaphor. Images which include people/models would be welcome, although we'd need confirmation of the subjects' consent to have their image distributed in the public domain.

And, as ever, we're looking for original work and all images will be checked carefully before prizes are awarded.

For anyone who submitted an image to us by August 23rd, you should have heard back from our judges by now to let you know if your picture has been accepted. For those who have been accepted and confirm to us that they want to go ahead and submit the picture, Amazon vouchers will be sent out by email over the next 14 days.

Okay, we're announcing that this promotion is now set to end on Friday 29th September, so if you have any pictures that you'd like to be considered, head over to the Stock Image competition page pronto and get your entries in by that date.

The entrants will be judged after that closing date and prizes will be announced in the first part of October.

We are currently in the process of selecting the first batch of pictures to be entered into our Stock Image Library. If you applied - you can expect to hear back very soon (within the next couple of working days)!

If you haven't managed to submit any pics yet, don't worry you still have a chance of winning Amazon Vouchers in our second batch!

I've let a work colleague know about this. He is a bit of a hill walker and certainly used to take good photos - sold a few of them to some websites in the past.
