yojimbo would be better if he appears like odin does and kills whatever instead of wasting time in the summoning
The first time I went through Final Fantasy 10, I did all the wrong things with Yojimbo. You have to answer a question about handling power, to which I later learned I had given the answer where he is least likely to use Zanmato in future. I also bartered for ages, which I'm told gives him less motive to use Zanmato. To top it off, on my first trial, I tried paying him 0 gil, and let him get killed by a boss.
Later, when I figured out what Zanmato was, it would only actually happen about 1 in 10 times, despite the fact I was offering 300,000 gil per go and more on occasions.
Second time round I knew what to avoid, and he's a little better behaved - but still unreliable. I much prefer to do things the old fashioned way, and kill bosses with big sticks and proper magic.

ive beaten penance buti havent unlocked nemesis yet
Has anyone defeated Nemesis and Penance? Ive got Nemisis but still not Penance... I really dont wanna use Yojimbo because it would remove any satisfaction gained from the game.

115? I used 64 hours to get two of every materia mastered and all characters level 100! What were you at? Not to mention breeding my own chocobo to S rank and then the special rank after that.+ all the other stuff you mentioned including the guy from Kalm. Also all the characters ultimate limit breaks took ages.

Wow that's impressive. It's taken me 170 hours so far to get all the characters stats up to 255 and hp around 40000... dunno where you get the levels from (?). And my blitzers are all around level 50.. I didnt have the patience with Blitzball.. perhaps if it had a 'first team to 5 goals' or something, I would have played it more.. But the investment of 10minutes + in every match was annoying. Dont get me wrong blitzball was great at the start... Anyone else get tired of it?
