A few questions if you will:

1. How much will it cost me to get it?

2. How much will it cost to run?

3. What games will run on it?

4. When's it coming out in Britain.

5. There's a good game on the Pc called Battle Field 1942 or something is that appearing on the x-box?

6. Will spurs ever win the premiership?

Dont forget Unreal Championship also has downloadable content.

You will need a broadband connection so if you have one then its ok, but if not check if you can get broadband via ADSL or Cable. Then it may cost £50-100 for installation depending on supplier. Then you need the monthly subscription to the broadband at £20-30. Also then you need either a router £100+ or use the modem you probably get with your installation, and hook it up to your Network card, if you havent got one then thats £15 and then some cable for the connection between the XBox and PC £5. If you have broadband then its the £42.99, but if you havent you got to add up all the other stuff as well. And of course you need some games. You get 2 demos but there only short demos. Moto GP can be rented out and you can unlock all the tracks e.t.c. and then use the save to unlock them in the demo.

£39.99 for the kit and 1 years subscription.

> 2. How much will it cost to run?

Once the kit is purchased, you'll just need to pay your broadband connection to whoever you join up with. Normally around £30 a month - there should be some decent deals around.

> 3. What games will run on it?

Before Christmas...
Online playable:
Mech Assault
Unreal Championship
Moto GP
Whacked!
Ghost Recon
NFL Fever 2003

Downloadable content:
Mech Assault
Splinter Cell

Next year, so far there are around 60 online games planned.

You can join up on the Test Drive phase now by purchasing a kit from xbox.com
The official launch is March 14th next year.

£40 for the pack, and your monthly fee for broadband.

> 2. How much will it cost to run?
Just the £40 a year for the MS service. Obviously, you have to add on the price of broadband, but if you already use it for the PC, that's no big problem

> 3. What games will run on it?
A LOT of games will be available for it in the near future (along with some already). There's going to be Halo 2, PGR 2, Mech assult, basically, a lot. Also, some games will allow you to download extra levels with it, such as Splinter Cell.

> 4. When's it coming out in Britain.
You can go to the official Xbox site, order it now and begin to play straight away as part of the testdrive service. You'll be able to buy it in shops from March 14th, one year after the Xbox's release.

Testdrive kit from www.xbox.com/uk/live will cost £42.99 including postage, you get a communicator, two special version games, and a years subscription that doesnt start until 14th March 2003. You will need broadband, and a way of hooking your Xbox to your connection via whatever modem you have.

> 2. How much will it cost to run?

The first year is included in your £42.99 but no definite prices yet, you can easily cancel your membership if you don't like the prices when they announce them.

> 3. What games will run on it?

Whacked
Moto GP - on Testdrive disc and needs retail version to unlock all features - rent it from Blockbuster to do this cheaply if you don't have it.
Mech Assault
Unreal
Ghost Recon
Splinter Cell - downloadable content

50+ more guaranteed by end of 2003, 20+ for March 14th

> 4. When's it coming out in Britain.

Testdrive - where you can buy it only from the website - started Nov 30th and can be bought until mid February. However official retail launch is 14th March 2003.

Yep, and it will be online play.
