does anybody know anything about the gameboy add-on for the gamecube

what it's call or a release date for it?

it was announced and then it all went quiet

I would like to get it but it seems the sujested price for it is £39.99 which is quiet expensive which makes me think twice about it. But I will get it in the end even if I have to wait to the price drops.

I am - eventually.

they are £56.99 each, they're out in Japan but you need Freeloader to get it to work on a UK Cube, anyone know how much they are expected to be over here ?, can't see them selling if they're more than say £30 ?

...by increasing the sales of the Gamecube. It's a win=win situation anyhow if it's a success, if it's a failure, the GBA SP will keep them going...

They are thinking of bundeling it with the console in an attempt to improve the GC's back catalogue and also to sell a load more systems...

Such an idea may work but may effect sales of the GBA.

It's called the Gameboy Player.

Variety of different colours, fits into one of the slots underneath your Cube (like the 64DD with the N64).


Should be released quite soon, that's all I know.
