So she writes in to the local paper to whine about things, and pickets speed traps in her spare time.

Sounds like a barrel of laughs :^D ;^P

You're still hung up on her though?
To be candid, I get the impression you probably need to get laid :^)
Hell, don't we all?

I'm sorry. I like to try and think of myself as quite a "mature" and grown-up person for my age, and yet, I couldn't help but start laughing when I read this, because of the way it all came out. Sorry! :)

And if you ask me, the best time to learn to drive - if you're old enough and you've got the money and neccesities - whether you've got a car or not, it's NOW.

Tests are getting harder all the time; they're coming up with new ways to catch us out every single day. Before too long, it really will be impossible for many to pass the damn tests (I'm sure even the Theory will become hard at some point!).

Mine's on the 8th of June (two-weeks Tuesday). I'm trying not to be as over-confident as I have been the last few times. Although, my Confidence has been shot since Test #3 anyway. :P

Yup, I passed.

I wasn't!

Nope. Jenn tested me on a couple questions the night before, and told me some of the signs I didn't know, but other than that, not much. We were lying on the bed while she was testing me, and she said that while on the phone talking to her mother she had mentioned that she hadn't seen me doing any preparation, and her mum said that I was probably doing it in secret.

The only real preparation I did was to read most of that official test book, the one with all the questions and answers in, about an hr before my test. :)

> How did you find the Hazard Perception part?

Ok. It's hard not to click everytime you think they want you to click though. Don't want to fail on clicking too often. Cos you have to click when you see what could be a hazard (some random pedestrian about 2 miles ahead), and then when the situation changes. I got 6 of the 14 clips totally right, and then about various scores on the others.

> drive...! :)

Nope. Never really had the need, or the money to be able to! But it's about blummin' time I learnt. Ideally before I start a proper job. Really should have been learning since last yr, but I'm silly.

Rambled on (again) so-much I forgot the funny part there...

She went on the tannoy to let everyone and all know there was a problem along one of the bussiest and most-used roads in the area.

Without realising what she was actualy saying, or even thinking before she said something, out comes: "...there's a speed-trap near the bell-end of ..."!

This is just why I love working in my s**** job for takes-the-mick money - the range of people and all the laughs to be had just seem to make it so worthwhile! :D

I'm still nowehere near sorting out an Apprenticeship for September, even though my July holiday's all been payed for... :S
