:P

But the b/f of the girl upstaires is selling his two yr old racing bike for £60. As he's going traveling round the world with her soon for the best part of a year, so won't be needing it!

She said she'll get the specs, hopefully a pic.

There's lots of prospects to see some greenary, or the sea. If you're willing to just hop on a bus or train. Think you should be able to get a bus to that park, or at least most of the way there, as it's in the direction of the hospital. But you won't need to do that, you'll have a shiny new bike to!

Heh, I was wondering about the prospects of seeing some greenary up there :^)

£80.99 :D It was £89.99 but I had a 10% voucher from Jenn's book of vouchers from freshers fair.

Narr, I had to go for something that could deff do off-road. Much more interesting. I like forest treks! Not that I've seen any recently, apart from a smallish one today.

There's this really big park behind where I was in halls in first yr, about 5mins walk from here! Anyways, went for a run with Dan last year, and he said that if you keep going up that road you come to another park which is even bigger! Never been there before cos I ain't running THAT far! But rode there today and it's really nice! Lots of grass, trees, ponds. Even had animals! I was impressed with it's size, and don't know why in my 4yrs being here, I've never been to it! Think I'll go back tomorrow if the weathers good and take some snaps.

Nice bike. How much was that one?

The ones at my cash converters are most £80 at the moment, reduced from £100.
But they're all mountain bike models.

I'd quite like a racer, for most of what I'd be doing, though it'd be nice to go off-road too.
Maybe I'll go for something somewhere between the two...

Still need to put in the insurance claim though. My dad is notoriously bad at getting off his a$$ to do anything, I'll probably need to prod him with pointy sticks while he phones for a claim form.

Only with emergency tax, and a crap wage, I'm currently taking £130 a week, I've spent a bit on work clothes, I don't seem to be making much headway with my overdraft yet, so maybe I still can't afford one :^(

Ah well, hopefully soon I'll be taxed less and saving more.
Hopefully.
