Ok, having been playing* this for about an hour i can say that the battle system is worse than anything i could have imagined, i quite like the grid at the moment and story may have potential. Starting the game with something more interesting than the game itself was a bad move though. Being part of the defence for the invasion would have impressed me far more than having to sit back and watch it. Instead of that i'm having to settle for being a delivery boy with a characted i know and care nothing about. I've got this odd feeling this could be a great game if they hadn't f**ked the battle system.

It does look like Guild Wars. I wasnt too keen on the look of FF XII when it was first announced but the idea has grown on me. Im far to busy with coursework to be starting a new FF game though so Im waiting until its all finished then I'll get it and give my opinion.

I was going to go and rent it today. I dont like the look of the combat system but they story has potential.
