Was also informed that all current 3mbps customers will be switched over the next coupl eof weeks. They're still load testing the network and some exchanges still have limiters in @ 5mbps.

There's 3 caps based on how mych you pay, something along the lines of 40,50 & 75GB/month but they are releasing an uncapped version to next year at a romoured £49.99/month.
Speeds have been a little erratic this morning. Latnight I had the full 10mb, then at about 1am it dropped to 500k/sec thne when I left this morning, it was back up at 5mb. Aparently the official switch from 3 to 10 users is Dec 1st, everything before that is hit or miss as they're still faffin about with load balancing. There's also a list of non-compatible modems about somewhere that worth looking at. ANyone with an NTL 100,120,200 should be fine though.
Should be able to get TV shows from BitTorrent at about, ooh I dunno, 30 seconds an episode? ;-)

3mb cutomers should start automatically getting upgraded from now onwards. 1 & 2mb start of 2006
Not feel a bit odd watching things download so quickly?
:0)
When did they do this? Is it the new standard speed? I'm on 2Mb, does that mean we'll get upgraded automatically?
