i dont mean to insult SR in saying that i pre ordered from another company but i just think that forking out £279 there and then is a bit much so i decided to pre order my 360 from a highstreet HMV. I found myself 2nd in the list and am garunteed one for launch! and all it cost was a tenner. THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT for other shops but a thought, why cant internet shops just accept a deposit? This way you dont have to search the couch for cash everytime a new peice of kit comes out. Going back on what i just said do not pre order from LAME as they dont know stock from an Oxo cube!
i also hate the running the guantlet of "will it arrive on launch day"
SR do, which is why they suck.
Most online shops dont charge your card until its been dispatched, not sure of SR though.
